With this strategy in mind, the new LANEF project focuses on five challenges which underpinned the initial LANEF project (2011-2019).
To successfully enforce this strategy, LANEF will use its means to improve scientific quality, education, and international collaborations, to strengthen links with R&D and industry, and to promote innovation.
All these challenges will benefit from Grenoble’s unique environment with respect to large scale facilities
(synchrotron and neutron facilities), characterization and nanofabrication platforms. Modelling and
simulation are also key activities of LANEF researchers.
